Citizen's Emergency Personal Protection Guide

Fayette County Emergency Management Agency is recommending the following:

• Continue to review plans and procedures for both accuracy and adequacy
• Stress information and operation security issues to all parties
• Identify any planned community events where a large attendance is
  anticipated & consult with event organizers regarding contingency plans,
  security awareness, and site accessibility and control
• Check and verify all deliveries
• Continue normal operations

Tips or information about suspicious activity of a potentially terrorist nature
should be referred to either local law enforcement or the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania toll-free State Police Tip Line at

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has established a Rumor Control Hotline to allow you to clarify rumors regarding Operation Liberty Shield or terrorist threats within the Commonwealth.  This number allows you to obtain accurate information and to help correct any half-truths or rumors circulating within your community.
